Who is Maureen Maloney?
Maureen Maloney’s son was killed by an illegal immigrant in 2011. Since her son’s death, Maureen has been relentless in fighting the liberal policies which support and encourage illegal immigration. She has been a guest at Trump’s rallies, endorsed JD Vance and other conservative politicians, and she still continues to fight. She also serves as a board member of the Advocates for Families of Illegal Alien Crime (AVIAC) which was started by parents and siblings who have suffered the ultimate tragedy of losing a loved one to illegal alien crime.
Massachusetts Ballot Question 4 sought to allow undocumented immigrants to obtain driver's licenses. It was called by the liberals: “The Work and Family Mobility Act.”
The state of MA passed a law allowing undocumented immigrants to get driver's licenses despite a veto from Gov. Charlie Baker, but shortly afterwards, a committee called Fair and Secure Massachusetts, led by Maureen Maloney, mobilized a grass roots movement to get a referendum on the ballot and put the question to voters. So, in November, the voters got to decide!
But, not so fast!
It turned out that the forces against this effort emerged from all directions, including out-of-state contributions, and yes, even email censorship from Comcast. Our grass roots effort failed, and in the end the vote was 46% to 54%.
Research ultimately showed that over $1,000,000 from unions and out-of-state organizations funded and helped to defeat our grass roots movement.
